Submission Process
Follow these steps to submit your contribution to Bible Fun Land:
- Review our guidelines - Read through this entire page to ensure your contribution meets our standards and requirements.
- Prepare your materials - Format your content according to our specifications detailed in the appropriate section below.
- Complete the submission form - Fill out the contribution form at the bottom of this page with all requested information.
- Initial review - Our team will review your submission and respond within 2-3 weeks with feedback.
- Collaboration - If your submission moves forward, we'll work with you to refine and finalize the content.
- Publication - Once approved, your contribution will be formatted for our platform and published!
Important Notes
Before submitting, please be aware that:
- By submitting content, you grant Bible Fun Land permission to use, adapt, and publish your materials.
- We may need to edit or modify submissions to fit our platform and standards.
- All biblical content must be theologically sound and align with our statement of faith.
- We cannot guarantee that all submissions will be published.
- Contributors will be credited for their work unless they request anonymity.
Content Guidelines by Category
Lessons & Activities
Format Requirements:
- Clearly indicate the target age group (Little Explorers 3-5, Faith Adventurers 6-12, Truth Seekers 13-21)
- Include learning objectives and Scripture references
- Provide step-by-step instructions for any activities
- List required materials for crafts or activities
- Submit as Word documents (.docx) or PDFs
- Include any relevant images or diagrams (original work only)
Content Recommendations:
- Activities should be engaging and interactive
- Include discussion questions that encourage critical thinking
- Offer modifications for different learning styles and abilities
- Connect activities to biblical principles
- Consider family involvement opportunities
Artwork & Design
Format Requirements:
- Submit high-resolution images (minimum 300 DPI)
- Acceptable formats: .jpg, .png, .svg, .pdf, or original source files (.psd, .ai)
- Include a brief description of each image and its intended purpose
- For character designs, include multiple poses and expressions
- Coloring pages should have clear, bold lines suitable for printing
Style Guidelines:
- Artwork should be bright, cheerful, and appealing to children
- Biblical figures should be portrayed respectfully and with historical accuracy
- Diverse representation in character appearance is encouraged
- Avoid scary or unnecessarily violent imagery
- Style should be consistent with Bible Fun Land's existing visual theme
Bible Stories & Writing
Format Requirements:
- Submit text in Word document (.docx) format
- Clearly indicate target age group
- Include Scripture references for all stories
- Provide a brief summary and learning objectives
- Length guidelines: Little Explorers (300-500 words), Faith Adventurers (500-800 words), Truth Seekers (800-1500 words)
Content Guidelines:
- Use age-appropriate language and concepts
- Maintain biblical accuracy while simplifying complex concepts
- Include engaging dialogue and descriptive language
- Highlight the lesson or moral of the story
- Connect the story to children's everyday experiences
- Avoid unnecessary additions to biblical narratives
Technical Contributions
Format Requirements:
- For code: Submit via GitHub repository or Zip file
- Include detailed documentation and comments
- Specify browser/device compatibility
- For games/interactive elements: Include user instructions
- Describe accessibility features implemented
Technical Guidelines:
- Code should be clean, efficient, and well-commented
- Ensure compatibility with major browsers and devices

- Design should be responsive and mobile-friendly

If you're concerned about the quality of your work, consider finding a mentor or collaborator with experience in your area of interest before submitting.
Bible Fun Land is a non-profit ministry, and most contributions are received as volunteer donations of time and talent. However, we do have a limited budget for commissioned work, particularly for extensive projects or specialized skills.
If compensation is important to you, please indicate this in your submission form, and we'll let you know if your project qualifies for our commissioned work program.
Unless you request anonymity, all contributors are credited for their work on our platform. Credits typically include your name and, if desired, a brief bio and link to your portfolio or website.
For major contributions, we may also feature an interview with you in our newsletter or create a contributor spotlight on our social media channels.
Yes! While Bible Fun Land will have the right to use and adapt your work on our platform, you retain the right to include the work in your portfolio and to mention your contribution to Bible Fun Land in your resume or professional materials.
However, you may not sell or distribute the same content to other organizations or platforms without our permission, as this could create confusion and copyright issues.
